🔒 Short version: BodyTrack stores all your data locally on your device. We collect no personal information, have no servers, and require no account. Your measurements, vitals, and photos are yours alone.
Information We Collect
BodyTrack does not collect any personal information. The app operates entirely offline and stores all data locally on your iPhone using iOS's secure on-device storage (UserDefaults and the app's local Documents directory).
The data you enter — measurements, vitals (heart rate and blood pressure), progress photos, and notes — never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it via the built-in iOS Share Sheet.
Data Storage
All measurements are stored using Apple's UserDefaults and local file system, both protected by iOS's sandboxing and encryption. Progress photos are stored in the app's private Documents directory, accessible only to BodyTrack.
Multi-person profiles are stored separately using a unique identifier per person, all remaining on-device. No profile data is shared between users or transmitted externally.
If you enable iCloud backup on your device, your data may be included in those backups as part of normal iOS behaviour. This is controlled entirely by your iCloud settings, not by BodyTrack.
Third-Party Services
BodyTrack uses no third-party analytics, advertising networks, crash reporting services, or tracking frameworks. There are no SDKs from Facebook, Google, or any other third party embedded in the app.
Camera & Photo Library Access
BodyTrack may request access to your camera and photo library solely for adding progress photos to measurement entries. Images are stored locally and never uploaded or shared without your explicit action.
Health Data
BodyTrack allows you to log health-related data including heart rate and blood pressure. This information is entered manually by you and stored exclusively on your device. BodyTrack does not connect to Apple HealthKit or any external health service, and does not transmit health data to any server or third party.
Data Deletion
You can delete all data for any person at any time from within the app (Settings → select person → Delete All Data). Deleting the app from your device will also permanently remove all stored data and photos.
Children's Privacy
BodyTrack is intended for users 17 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we change this privacy policy in a material way, we will update the "Last updated" date above and note changes in the App Store release notes.
