Who is Midlife Guide for?
Midlife Guide is designed for women navigating perimenopause, menopause, and the wider midlife transition. It also includes support content written for men, partners, and families who want to understand and help.
Is this medical advice?
No. Midlife Guide offers general educational wellness content only. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, or replace professional medical care. Please discuss symptoms, treatment options, medication, and hormone therapy with a qualified clinician.
What do the daily check-ins track?
You can record mood, energy, sleep, overall wellbeing, symptoms, protein, movement, and free-text notes. Over time this builds a picture of patterns you can bring to a clinician.
What is the Meditation Collection?
It's an optional one-time in-app purchase that unlocks ten guided audio practices supporting calm, sleep, energy, rest, and emotional steadiness. There is no subscription — you buy it once and keep it.
I bought the Meditation Collection but it's locked on another device. What do I do?
Open the Meditation tab and tap Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the purchase, your meditations will unlock at no extra cost.
Is the app paid?
Yes, Midlife Guide is a paid app. The core guidance, daily check-ins, library, and journaling are all included. The Meditation Collection is the only additional in-app purchase.
Is my journal private?
Yes. Your daily check-ins and journal entries are stored on your device only. Nothing is uploaded to a server. See the full Privacy Policy.
How do I back up my entries?
Enable iCloud backup in iOS Settings. Midlife Guide's local data is included in standard device backups, so it can be restored if you set up a new iPhone or iPad.
What devices and iOS version are required?
Midlife Guide runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17.0 or later. It is built with SwiftUI.
How do I request a refund?
App and in-app purchases are handled by Apple. Refunds are requested through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
